How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your Step Daddy account at any time through the app. When you delete your account, all of your personal information and activity data will be permanently removed from our systems.

Open the Step Daddy app on your mobile device

Navigate to the Settings tab in the bottom navigation bar

Scroll down and tap on Delete Account at the bottom of the settings screen

Review the information about account deletion, then tap Delete My Account

Confirm your decision when prompted

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our systems:

Your profile information (name, email, profile picture, bio)
Your step and activity history
Your competition history and participation records
Your connected health service tokens
Your friend connections and team memberships
Any other personal data associated with your account

Data Retention

While most data is deleted immediately, some information may be retained for a short period for the following reasons:

Backup purposes: Your data may remain in encrypted backups for up to 30 days after deletion.
Aggregate analytics: Anonymous, aggregated data that does not identify you may be retained for analytical purposes.

Note: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted, you will not be able to recover any of your data or restore your account.
